These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the MRLS Skin website or purchase products from us.

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean MRLS Skin, and “you” means the person using our website or purchasing from us.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

MRLS Skin operates this website and online store using the Shopify ecommerce platform.

2. Eligibility and website use

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order through our website.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for activity carried out through your account.

You must not misuse this website, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access or use the website for unlawful purposes.

3. Product information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information are accurate.

Colours, packaging and appearance may vary slightly from images displayed on different screens. Manufacturers may also occasionally update product packaging or presentation without changing the product itself.

All products are subject to availability. We may withdraw, replace or update products and descriptions at any time.

Product information on this website is provided for general informational purposes and is not medical advice. Results may vary between individuals. Where you have a medical condition, allergy, sensitivity or concern, seek appropriate professional advice before using a product.

4. Orders and contract formation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase products from us.

After placing an order, you will receive an acknowledgement confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

A contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted or dispatched.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

• a product is unavailable;
• payment cannot be authorised;
• the price or product information contains an obvious error;
• we suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
• delivery is unavailable to the supplied address; or
• order quantities suggest commercial resale.

Where payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, we will issue a refund.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling.

The price payable is the price shown at checkout when the order is placed.

Applicable delivery charges will be displayed before you confirm your order.

MRLS Skin is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not separately charged.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must be authorised before an order can be processed.

Promotional offers and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions and may be withdrawn or amended where permitted by law.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom.

Available delivery services, estimated delivery times and charges are shown at checkout and explained in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Unless you arrange your own carrier, products remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you. Legislation.gov.uk

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional delivery costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged where reasonable.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your cancellation, return and refund rights are explained in our Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights, including your rights where products are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose.

For hygiene reasons, certain sealed skincare or personal-care products may not be returnable after they have been opened or unsealed, except where they are faulty or your statutory rights otherwise apply.

8. Product use and reactions

Please use products only as directed.

You should check the ingredient list before use, particularly where you have known allergies or sensitivities. We recommend conducting a patch test where appropriate.

Stop using a product and seek suitable advice if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs.

We are not responsible for issues caused by misuse, failure to follow instructions, use after the stated expiry or recommended period after opening, or use despite a known allergy, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Intellectual property

All website content, including branding, logos, text, graphics, photographs, videos and layout, is owned by or licensed to MRLS Skin and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Where you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content, you confirm that:

Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our control.

Purchases made from MRLS Skin are made directly with MRLS Skin, not Shopify.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
• breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from purchases made primarily for commercial purposes.

These Terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Shopify and other service providers may also process information where necessary to operate the website, process payments and fulfil orders.

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Where such an event materially affects an order, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our business, website, services or legal obligations.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Changes will not retrospectively affect orders already accepted unless required by law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections and may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
